  Went with my wife for St Patrick’s Day dinner and bagpipes. Well let me say this place took a 180 from last year. The owner and his friends stood in the corner next to a pile of empty glasses at the bar. All they were concerned about was who can they cut loose next. Bag pipers never came (certain he called them off since it was slow), one bartender who was at least dressed for occasion but she had no bar back so she was running back to get patrons food.
  Our server was awesome and in costume. The other two people on the clock weren’t even really in costume. There wasn’t Irish music playing. The food was horrible. We’re at an Irish national chain and the shepherds pie was dry, lacking any flavor, and small portions. Nothing special on the special menu. Just the same Irish fare on the regular menu for the same price as any other day. Sorry folks but the writings on the wall. Another new chain to the Poughkeepsie area that will inevitably fail due to poor management.
